Men's Captain's Charity
My Charity of choice for the upcoming golf season is towards Dementia Support.
The reason for this choice is because of how this condition has affected my family personally.
My Father-in-Law, Philip was diagnosed several years ago. Over the years I have witness how this condition has affected not only Philip, but also his wife, his daughter (my wife) Tracey and his Granddaughter.
This condition caused the heart-breaking decision to have to move Philip into a care home, as it was putting himself and others at risk.
As his family we will always be there for him on good days and bad. He may not remember us when we see him every time, but we will continue to make memories with him, special occasions, days out shopping or simply out for a few drinks.
All donations are welcome as we join the support of research to work towards a cure for this horrible illness.
